On Sunday, June 9, Modi, 73, will take the oath of office as prime minister for a record-tying third consecutive term, matching the record held by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the country's first premier.

This election marks the first since Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.The people have offered the NDA government another opportunity to serve their country for the third time.I promise the nation's citizens that over the past two terms, the nation has advanced quickly, progress is evident in every area, and the fact that 25 crore people have been lifted out of poverty is a source of pride for all Indians.stated in his speech following his meeting with the president.





With the backing of Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu, Janata Dal (Secular) leader HD Kumaraswamy, and Janata Dal (United) president Nitish Kumar, Modi was formally elected as the leader of the NDA earlier in the day.

"People know we will deliver; our ten years are just a trailer," Modi declared. "We will work much harder, faster for the development of our country."

We will all collaborate with you and work under your guidance, which is a very positive thing that we have all come together for.

"I've noticed that some people have occasionally won Lok Sabha elections by making pointless statements. They have never served the nation and have never worked. In his criticism of the opposition, the JD(U) head continued, "Next time when you win, they all will be defeated."
