According to Xi, the Palestinian-Israeli problem should not be resolved at the whim of a two-State solution.

On Thursday, Chinese President Xi Jinping stated that the two-State solution should not be abandoned at will, that justice should not be absent forever, and that conflict should not go on indefinitely.

The statements were made by Xi during his keynote address at the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum's 10th ministerial summit.

Although there are many opportunities for development in the Middle East, there is still constant conflict there. According to Xi, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict has sharply increased since last October, causing the people to endure great agony.

On a state visit to China, Xi meets Putin of Russia as a symbol of the partners' solidarity.

China is fully in favour of Palestine being an independent state with complete sovereignty.centred on the lines of 1967, with its capital located in East Jerusalem. He said, "It supports a more comprehensive, authoritative, and effective international peace conference, as well as Palestine's full membership in the United Nations."

As mentioned by Xi, China would keep supporting efforts to alleviate Gaza's humanitarian crisis, aid in post-conflict reconstruction, and aid the U.N. Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East in its efforts to deliver emergency humanitarian aid to Gaza.
