A statement was released by the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) expressing their desire to improve bilateral trade and economic ties between Russia and Bangladesh.

He continued, "The Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant is a testament to our growing partnership and one of the milestones of cooperation."

"There is enormous potential for further growth in our bilateral trade relationship and export diversification through pharmaceuticals, light engineering goods, plastics, processed food, and other products," Mahbubul stated, referring to things other than RMG.

The president of FBCCI calls for industrialization investment.

Bangladesh is a vibrant market for Russian goods and services due to its rapidly expanding economy and youthful labour force. He remarked that Bangladesh's continued development journey can benefit greatly from Russia's technological breakthroughs and enormous resources.

After meeting domestic demand, Bangladesh's agriculture and food processing sectors are now preparing for exports. The RMG industry is the world's second-largest exporter, behind China.

According to Mahbubul, Bangladesh is home to eight of the top ten green RMG factories in the world. The use and acceptance of clean, renewable energy and environmentally friendly technology are growing.

The President of FBCCI stated, "We are a manufacturer and exporter of a variety of pharmaceutical products, leather goods, plastic, frozen seafood, ceramics, jute products, FMCG, and home appliances."

The president of the FBCCI extended an invitation to Russian investors to invest in Bangladesh's Special Economic Zones, specifically in the fields of manufacturing, energy, and infrastructure, in order to capitalise on the country's market. Mahbubul Alam stated that regular business delegations, trade missions, and virtual conferences can promote direct communication between Russian and Bangladeshi companies.

In response, Dr. Alexander Rybas, the Russian Trade Commissioner to India, expressed gratitude for Bangladesh's recent progress. It is time for both nations to increase their bilateral trade because they have shared interests in business and trade.

Russia and Bangladesh have long had a close friendship, according to Alexander V. Mantytskiy, the Russian Federation's ambassador to Bangladesh.

In South Asia, Bangladesh ranks as Russia's second-largest trading partner. There is a tremendous expansion of business links between the two countries. According to the Russian Ambassador, Russia is keen to help arrange business-to-business contacts between the entrepreneurs of the two countries.
